Running a business alone is quiet in a way nobody warns you about. No boss to answer to sounds like freedom, until you realise freedom without anyone checking in just feels like drift. It seems like the hardest part was never the work. It was doing it with no one watching.

Somewhere under the invoices and the algorithm, there was a reason you started. Not a number. A belief about the way things should work, or the person you wanted to become doing it. This is where we start too, because a business built on why survives the weeks the what falls apart.
